A low and associated front move slowly away to the east of New Zealand today,leaving an easterly flow over central New Zealand.A ridge builds over the lower South Island during the weekend,spreading over the rest of the South Island on Monday, as a trough is expected to move onto the north of the North Island.Another trough approaches from the west on Tuesday.
